Privacy Policy

    Last updated: October 8, 2026

This policy explains what information Tax-IL ("we") collects when you use tax-il.com, why we collect it and the choices you have. Questions: contact@tax-il.com.

    Information you give us

    • Contact and consultation forms: name, email, optional phone number, the service you are interested in and any message you write.
    • Booking requests: the date and time you choose and your contact details.
    • Unfinished forms: if you start typing your contact details into a form and leave without sending it, we may keep what you typed (for example name, email or phone) so we can follow up once. If you prefer we do not, simply leave the fields empty or ask us to delete it.

    Information collected automatically

    • Pages visited, referring website, campaign tags (UTM), approximate country, device and browser type.
    • Interaction events such as scrolling, opening the booking window or starting a form.
    • We use Google Analytics / Google Tag Manager and Hotjar (including heatmaps and session recordings that mask form inputs) to understand how the site is used. These services set cookies or similar identifiers.

    How we use information

    • To reply to your enquiry and schedule your free initial consultation.
    • To send confirmation and calendar emails related to your request.
    • To measure and improve the website and our content.
    • To prevent spam and abuse.

We do not sell your personal information and we do not use it for unrelated marketing without your consent.

    Service providers

We rely on trusted processors to run the site: website hosting and database infrastructure, an email delivery provider (Resend), and the analytics tools listed above. They process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy terms. Some may store data outside Israel.

    Retention

Enquiry data is kept for as long as needed to handle your request and any resulting engagement, and as required by professional and legal record-keeping obligations. Unfinished-form data that does not lead to contact is deleted periodically.

    Your rights

Subject to applicable law (including the Israeli Privacy Protection Law and, where relevant, the GDPR), you may ask to access, correct or delete your personal information, or object to its use. Email contact@tax-il.com and we will respond within a reasonable time. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

    Security

We use encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access controls. No online system is completely secure.

    Changes

We may update this policy. The "last updated" date above shows the latest version.
